Hi, folks.
I am hoping to draw on your expertise to help me accurately price my 1989 325i e30 for resell.
It has about 130,000 miles. It still drives well and there are no problems with starting. Paint is faded towards one half of the car and there are a couple small rust spots in the rear. Work needed on the horizon will probably be for the braking system and suspension. Also, the locking mechanisms are not working and some dashboard indicators need repair. [DM me for photos]
So, after that, my next question is... would anyone be interested?
Thanks

Re: Help with pricing my 1989 325i e30 2-door
Over the past couple of years I bought and sold one of these in the low $2,000 range. Interior was in excellent condition and exterior was fair. I fixed dashboard and fan problems before selling. It needed an antenna, but was solid other than that. I forget what the mileage was, but it ran very well.

Re: Help with pricing my 1989 325i e30 2-door
That one looks a little rough. Automatic hurts value. Try bringing the paint back, but it might be too late for that given the rust on the hood edge. Also, the chrome on the wheel wells is automatic rust bucket suspicion. Sorry to say, but it might be better as a parts car. Things like engine, diff, clean interior bits have cash value that might exceed the sum of the parts as presented.
