Who are you kidding, you always let me drive when we actually run these things!
....and JT - we're coming for you! (How's that for talkin' some smack!
)
I am soooooo looking forward to running another rally - it's been awhile!

The closest we can bring is my Z3...though it's only e30-based.
You should bring a car that won't break down!

LOL! Well, he could just tow it to the start on his trailer - that way he's guaranteed to get it to the party at the end of the rally!
It's a tough choice for us - my E28, Jon's Z3 or his E39 M5. Do we bring the sniper rifle, the assault rifle, or the heavy artillery!

It doesn't make a difference what you bring. We'll still whoop ya!

That's right - just like you've beaten us in the past! ... Oh, wait!
You've never beaten us in a rally before!
Well you have won rallies we built and ran for the club, so you've got a shot.
Bring it on....
Hey Jon, I believe this calls for the use of the heavy weaponry...

Maybe we'll break out the Mustang GT again. That gave us good luck last year. Battle of the big guns!
....time to finish the 1980 Firebird Formula (455cid 475hp) for next year...

What time does the Rally itself usually run until? I want to attend, but I have to see who can make it.

The driving part will end @ 1PM at a restaurant. Almost everyone stays for some food and drink (and to commiserate) while the results are calculated and results given. Figure on ending at 3PM.

Kudos to the rally masters Jamie and Mark (and their scoring assistants Dawn and Jackie)! Today was definitely cold, but it did not dampen the spirits of anyone involved. The questions were challenging, but fair, and I'm sure our car was not the only one to have a few arguments in it.
I still say my answer for the "What might these people have been wishing for?" was the right one ("A Merry Christmas, or Better taste")

I agree, Christmas was the better answer. Next time, tell the people they can't decorate until after the rally.
Thank you to all who made this a wonderfully fun day.
