New Jersey BMW CCA

I have inspected the lot at Englishtown and found it less than satisfactory. It has many areas that need repair, and most is very rough pavement, hard on tires.
Instead of Nov 5 at Englishtown, the following opportunity has come up. We have been asked to join NJR SCCA at MetLife stadium on Saturday Oct 22, only a week away. Lot E is enormous and smooth, and we will have the first run group and work the second, so we will be done by midday.

FYI, I passed the pnc arts center today and they were paving the lower commuter lot.

Although I won't be running this upcoming weekend, I have run with the SCCA at MetLife MANY times. Well worth it. Longer, smoother, sometimes faster courses. It'll be a real treat.

No can do. Doing a Rusty Wallace racecar event at Wall Stadium same day.

At PNC, the NJ Turnpike Authority has banned autocross from their properties just recently. I feel that the Holmdel residents are retaliating for us having defeated their "ordinance". Nice, big smooth lot, and we can't use it!

I plan on being there.
