Re: WTB: your dead engine block
Colin I still have that m30b35 bottom end if you want it. Great work

He does: 1-5-3-6-2-4. (I may have offered a hint in that department; I don't recall.)NeilE30 wrote:Colin, nice job!
I have to get my manual out and see if you have the right firing order.

Great job Colin! The roundel is a nice touch. Is that a hood/trunk medallion or a wheel center cap?

Re: WTB: your dead engine block
Thanks guys! My father taught me the proper firing order when I was 12: 15 is too young, 36 is too old, and 24 is just right.
The roundel is a hood emblem. I shaved off the tabs on the back and just glued it on. There's a switch so I can have all lights off, all lights on, or blink in firing order. Powered by 4 AAA batteries.
I did the wiring last, but that was a pain. I'll probably do wiring earlier in the process next time.
Not sure what my next project will be, but it will have wheels on it!

Wow that looks great Colin. Well done. I just tore down an m44 that would make a nice end table! It could really tie the room together.
