I've got a complete E30 M42 (harness and accessories) that has a lower end knock due to oil starvation, but I also have a good M42 bare block. Just need to swap everything over to the good block. Feel like buying a project or feel like paying me to put it together? :)

Depends on the costs? I'm likely to put it together myself, but once finished if there ends up being a problem with the good motor then what?

I'll inspect everything carefully tonight and let you know the details. Is there something wrong with the motor in your car?

It's leaking like crazy now, but other than that it pulls strong and has no issues. This is on our LeMons race car.

Well maybe we can work out a swap of some sort.. I'd like to have a spare running M42 laying around anyway. The motor I have ran perfectly except for an upper RPM knock. Turns out the rod bearings are toast, a few of them spun and the surfaces are questionable.. I would scrap the block. The bearings and surfaces on the bare block I have look perfect. Let me know what you think.. John 908 451 4332
