Scanner available?

Does anyone had a scanner available and can bring it to the meeting tomorrow night? My Check Engine light just came on and I also have an Air Bag light I would like to check and reset. This is for my 96 740il.

JT,
I have a Peake reader I can bring tomorrow. I don't think it will reset the airbag light though. If memory serves that requires a separate tool.

That's pretty much true of most code readers.

JT - the club's Peake R5/SRS tool will work. It's with me here in Manville. I can't make it to the meeting, unfortunately.

Thanks for the tip. I will contact you to see if we can get together to check it out. In the mean time I will see what Jeffs says about the Engine light.
