New member with BMW 740iL E38

Post by pkortun »

Not sure this is the right forum for this post. Just wanted to say hello to all members of BMW CCA in New Jersey. I joined this club very recently but happy to own and spend some time with my 740iL for 3 years. Here is an album with some upgrades / projects I've completed so far:

The main project is still on paper through. Are there any other E38 maniacs around? Would be happy to meet

you read my thinking! However, for last two years I've been considering a little more fundamental upgrade - E39 M5 engine, its tranny, LSD differential, and a "short" steering box. Was looking for a M5 for parts. Not so many of those with alive components and small mileage around through... Let me know if you hear anything
