e39 Audio Trouble

Hey,
I just purchased an e39 and I noticed the right sided speakers dont work, but the tweeters work. What should I do now?

Kind of a dumb question, but I would rather see if anyone else had a solution before I tear it apart.

Did you ever hear the speakers before purchase?

I had occasional audio problems with my e39, and I found that I could fix them by pulling, waiting, and re-seating all the radio and amplifier fuses. Of course, while they're out, you can check to see they're OK. It might be worth a try.

I understand the amps are common to go on these cars. I have a amp out of a 97 540i (non-premium, i believe) that your more than welcome to swap in and see if thats the issue.
