Mini to enter World Rally Championship

Mini's entry to the World Rally Championship has been rumored for some time. The FIA's new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine formula plays directly to the marque.
Now, autosport.com reports that an announcement of a Countryman-based pro-rally car is forthcoming, and that the car will begin running in WRC sometime in 2011.
