More importantly, Jeff, we have to buy you a new keyboard that includes a functional caps lock key! Or are you actually trying to convey the feeling of yelling?

All-caps is very hard to read.

Thanks, Dave

Im not trying to convey the feling of yelling and yes as you can see my caps lock does unlock. It's just a habit, and now that you mention it, it is hard to read. Sorry next time the caps lock will stay un locked.

All in all folks, this has been extraordinarily informative. I took the majority advice and bought the valentine 1, it has been very accurate. Thank you very much. Nice touch with the black gloves, hehehe.

I'm not planning on hard wiring it, since I don't use the cigarette lighter for anything else. It has saved me a few tickets. By the way I was driving a loaner today a 525, what a difference. Mine is a 330 with performance package. I didn't even need the radar detector with that car. First automatic I ever drove, I was lucky I didn,t slam on the "Clutch". Just cruising along like an old lady. I will get that car when I hit 70 (the age I mean not the speed)

I agree the 525 is not as fast as it should be. The 330 with the performance package must fly, the boosted 10 hp plus the 6 speed you can't compare the two. I drove the 525 w/ sport package and wasn't enough so I finally settled on the 530 w/ sport package and it's pretty good but I look froward to driving the 540/545 with a sport package, that is probably unreal.

I have to say Jeff, I also prefer smaller cars. They take the curves better, and parking is seldom a problem.

Absolutely smaller cars handle better, yet all bmw's are great on handling including my dads 740 which takes curves unbelievably and its an iL. I was going to get an 05 330i 4 door with a sport package but it was kind of snug. Im a big guy so the 5 fits me fine and it's a pleasure to drive.
