I hate to bump this old-ass post, but my memory seems to be an issue, so I'll do this now before I forget (again). I found this picture on my hard drive. I have NO idea where it came from, but there is somebody named "biodan" on m3forum.net. I googled his name and the file name, but found nothing. T...

I realize they're kind of toxic. If recycling them is an option at all, it would be my first choice. Or a...

OK here's some illustrations from this morning. Both shots are from under the front of the car, looking towards the back. Note that the front wheels are on ramps. Don't jack up by the diff case. It might work OK, but its mounts are not stressed for that (the diff will be OK but it will rip off the subframe). There's a heavy frame member just a few inches in front of the diff - use that instead for jacking up. In the front, I actually don't use the jack pads o...

Thanks David. No, I won't be at Lime Rock; not this time, anyway. I'm heading down to NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach for the airshow. This will be the last time that F-14s will be flying for the public before they're decommissioned. I never get tired of seeing 40-ton vehicles going 600 miles per hour....

Hi folks! I've managed to fool our webmeisters into giving me control of our online galleries, so two things: 1) I've added a bunch of photographs I took at the recent Street Survival school to the galleries. Go look. I'm certain I got shots of every car; if you don't see yours there, it's possible ...

Just a teaser for now. Lots of fun today, but lots of work now! Hope you like. I wish I could fit in the "shoe."
