Garage floor paint job complete. I'm now looking for some pads to place under both the wheels (temperature shield) and engine block (oil / grease). I've seen garage floor tiles for use under wheels, and also a ~8 x 10' rubber (?) mat beneath the whole car. Anyone have any ideas on what to consider, ...

Cleaned the floor again with Simple Green HD Pro. Simple Green rcmnded adding baking soda. Why? I found a YouTube video on garage floor prep pre-paint that suggested using a hi PH (alkaline) solution to remove oil. pH of water ~5, baking soda ~7. So I also added ammonia - Ph ~11. engine block wash
Trying to clean the block after years of grime and fluid leaks, and would like to wash the block. Hasn't been done in 10 years. Any advice? Anything to avoid? Power wash? Or just use sponge with soap and hose to rinse?
