Need to borrow or buy a BM53 radio module for e46 with nav
My radio stopped working so I am looking for a working BM 53 module. These modules are a known failure point so I’d like to try a known module before more extensive troubleshooting.

Re: JULY 7 Autocross
A few tips: Bring water; it gets hot. Remember to walk the course, as many times as you are able, before driving. Grab an instructor for as many runs as you want. Ride with an instructor. Get to your assignment quickly. We lose more runs due to slow change overs than any other reason. Other than thi...

Re: Shop to prep 2006 Nissan 350z for track
I'm not familiar with Nissan shops. I can say, especially for the first event, you should be able to use any competent shop. Download our tech form as a guide and make sure they fully flush the brake fluid. Shade Tree garage (Morristown) is one of our sponsors and can certainly prep your car.

Labor costs are offset by sponsors when you have a TV show.

Re: Non BMW Diff Help
It looks like a Triumph TR2-3 rear. I would have though Jaguar but that upwards facing plug looks more like Triumph.

Re: Custom fitted BMW seat covers?
Check the euro catalogs direct from BMW. I’m pretty sure BMW made, or makes, covers for almost all seats. Sometimes they don’t sell in the US market though.

Re: OCT 15 Autocross
That Mini was a blast to watch. I would suggest you take an instructor with you but the weight would probably cause you to double your time. We can put a radio in there to offer pointers if you want.

Re: M3 Convertible - Leather Cleaner, Squeaks and Rubber Sea
I use the BMW leather cleaner/conditioner and I like it. Plus you can't go wrong when the manufacturer recommends it. I also have Lexol and Griots Garage cleaner/conditioners. Both are good alternatives. However I must say Lexol did pull out color on "coated leather" seats in a Ford. I'm not sure if...

Stuart,
Welcome!
Nice pictures. I'm trying to find 1:18 scale die-casts for all of the cars my family owned. It is not an easy task.

This was a joint effort; all I did was the end. Elihu deserves the props for the main course!
I hope to see everyone at Bimmerfest.

Re: New to BMW
What mode is the trans in, or all modes, when you have this problem? Regular drive or sport? Hopefully you just need to clean the connections on the shifter.
