Thank you. He purchased a current Snell rated Bell Helmet today

My son is looking to attend his first AutoX but he doesn't have a Snell 2015 helmet. Can he use a DOT approved helmet, I don't want him to spend hundreds on a helmet in the event he only wants to auto once or twice. Do you have to stay til 4pm? My son has work at 2PM but he wants to get some experience autox.

I printed out my ID card on the BMWCCA national site same day I renewed. Then I got my ID card in the mail 5 days later.

Thanks for the update, I'd hate to drive 1.5 hours and not enough cars show up to show.

It was a limited production with some dealers only getting 1-3 units and I knew of other dealers who got 0. I believe the US production was about 740 units. I seem them on Ebay for $10K over MSRP with 7-12k miles on them. We sold ours at MSRP. We only got one.
