Non BMW Diff Help

Post by CT88 »

Father is re-building a Daimler Dart - if you know what that is... brownie points for you!

Anyway. We are trying to determine what make the rear-axle that is currently on the car is. It's non-original. Best guess so far is a Chrysler Dana type.

Anyone have any ideas? We need to figure it out so we can get the right drum pads and hand brake linkages etc. This is the best picture we have at the moment.

Thanks!

It looks like a Triumph TR2-3 rear. I would have though Jaguar but that upwards facing plug looks more like Triumph.
