Hey thanks for posting that link. As one who is currently struggling with mechanical issues I really needed that attitude adjustment. I'm almost looking forward to attacking that next rusty nut.

Fantastic, well made production. Any BMW enthusiast knows that the E30 is "THE" cult car.
Enjoy!

E30s (2 of them) were my first BMWs.
Did my first AutoX and DE in one.
Sold mine with ~250K miles on the clock to a guy who drove it cross-country to Seattle.
I would never dream of buying one for my kids, or recommending anyone to buy one for theirs.
Wicked off-throttle oversteer due to A-arm rear suspension. Sparse safety features (driver side airbag in '90+ cars), and minimal crumple zones.
All rubber pieces are rotten and need to be replaced after 25+ years. Telescoping radio antenna had a lifespan of one winter, and the rubber grommet surrounding it cracked and introduced rust to the fender.
If you are seriously into light-weight (sub 3K #s) nimble cars, check out MINI Coopers.
Everything that E30 tried to be, but faster (MCS), safer, and more economical.
