The Teddy Bear Rally is a non-Time-Speed-Distance Navigational car rallye with simple to understand written instructions, no complicated maps to read or math problems to solve. Each car leave the start approximately one minute apart and using the provided instructions, explore the back roads of northwest New Jersey, looking for the instructions to correctly follow the course while trying to located six photos clues to help you stay on the planned route. There are some challenges along the way to keep you on your toes and to help determine who gets the trophies. No special equipment needed, only a working odometer. You can also use any special GPS smart phone apps if you wish.
100% of all proceeds will be donated to the USMC Toys for Tots program. The event will start at Subaru 46 in Hackettstown/Bud Lake NJ and end approximately 60 miles later at the Long Valley Brew Pub. The entry fee is a new toy or stuffed Teddy Bear valued at $30. This will be our 27th annual event and is the longest continuously running event hosted by Northern New Jersey SCCA and the longest running charity event hosted by the Sports Car Club of America in the United States.
