All,

I created a group on Facebook for NJ BMW CCA members. Here is a link to the group and it should have a way to join the group:

I was hoping that the Club would not sink into the bowels of Facebook. Life was just great without it. Question: Why do people need others to know what is going on in their life? Just a thought.

Facebook is for 13 year old girls and people who think they should stars of their own reality TV shows.

Nah, that's myspace.

I've found a bunch of old friends on Facebook.

I'm with Jon on this one , have not seen some friends in 20-25 years .. it's great to reconnect with them..

yeah I agree they are definitely confusing MySpace with Facebook

and Meko, no obligation for you to sign up for FB... but to chastise other CCA members for using it goes against the club's inclusive nature and seems out of place

Reconnect with old friends - yes.

I got tagged on a 25 year old picture of myself playing basketball with my buddies. Good way to stay in touch.

Larry - you're never too old for this kind of stuff.

I'm glad some other folks out there see the value in Facebook. I was beginning to think that BMWs were just for old stodgy rich guys who shunned technology and anything considered hip. Now we can get back to the usual bashing of dip sticks and run flats. Too bad we don't have Chris Bangle to kick around any more (and you know you really did love that 760Li eventually!).

Cheers!
