According to an article in the Star Ledger this morning, the State Police are tripling their enforcement on Interstate 78 in respone to several recent fatal accidents.
Lets make sure we act like good citizens and have fun tonight, and save the high speed driving for Driving Schools!

Thanks Larry! Let's also not forget that the Perryville State Police Barracks are about 200 yards from the Grand Colonial (on the same exit along the access road just before you get to the restaurant). That stretch of I-78 is a favorite (and also the site of one of the fatal accidents a couple of weeks ago). Also note: if you take Rt. 22 instead of 78, they routinely set up DUI checkpoints between Whitehouse and Bridgewater on Saturday evenings. Make sure you have a Designated Driver! Travel safely everyone!
