I am planning on attending the event Sunday after a long break about 7 years. I have a couple friends who are not members and non bmw owners. Do they need to join the bmw cca to participate? Please advise so they can get things in order. Thanks

Hi 03e46m3,

That's great -- I'm glad you and your friends will be joining us. Yes, anyone driving at our autocrosses needs to a member of the BMW club. Your friends can join the club at https://www.bmwcca.org/ (click on "Join"). No need to own or drive a BMW.

Registration for the autocross is here: http://www.msreg.com/njax061117

There is a $25 discount for new BMW CCA members. As mentioned on the autocross registration site they can email me their BMW CCA receipt -- the contact info is on that site.

More information on our autocrosses is on this site under Driving Events > Autocross.

Best,
Matthew Cahn

Preliminary results are up here! Please check your classes and times, and let me know if you think there are any discrepancies.

Thank you everyone for a great day! It was hot, and the course was challenging, but definitely worth it! Fantastic variety of cars out there, too - some great stuff.

Video of my fifth and fastest run. I kept taking air out of my tires, and the pressure kept going up anyway. Today was *hot!* Thanks to everyone, especially the course workers, for hanging in there.

Also, thanks to the team who built the course. I continue to be impressed with how much good driving we can get on a modest patch of tarmac. Good job!

See you guys in July!
