There will be an autocross!
May 14 at Patriots Park in Bridgewater.
Details to be posted soon. Also set aside June 11, same location.

Only 4 weeks to the May 14 autocross. Please register at the motorsport.reg link.
The red lot is the smoothest surface we have had in a while, and there is plenty of paddock space under the solar panels with ample room for a challenging course.

Our schedule so far is May 14, June 11, and July 16 with more to come.

I got a similar briefing as well.

Bottom line - your wife is right, what else is new?

We generally avoid major holidays & important occasions involving significant others.
This year, pickings are slim. We need locations that give us permission, and are limited to what dates they have available, so for what it is worth, I apologize.

My plan at home is to observe Mothers Day the day before.

Video of my last and best run here, but I could have gone quicker. I was really pleased with the course overall - much better than I'd expected! Good to see everyone back out on the course today. Looking forward to a great season!

I'll second all of that! The course was lots of fun, quite a bit faster than I expected and the pavement is in great shape. I'm sure there is even better to come this season, as we get the hang of working in the reconfigured lot. Plus, I set a personal best for single-event cone carnage--fifteen total for the day! (Thankfully, a few of my faster runs were actually cone-free.)

Its always a bad day for anything, I was at Summit Point this past Mothers Day and the Paddock/School was filled, lots of Mothers spending time with family there. And its not a Male Centric Club, there were three mothers in the BMWCCA Race School, they told their husbands to have fun with the kids !!!!!
