Ofest Autocross

Post by colin »

Holy crap that was fun! What an excellent course, and a gorgeous day! And they ordered us lunch, too!

Course was fast, fun, and challenging. The surface had lots of imperfections like grass, cracks, and bumps. It was fun trying to piece together as many corners as possible into one motion. Good times!

My seventh run was my best - 76.1xx seconds and no cones!. I was sure I could get into the 75's, but I never was able to - even though my final runs felt even faster and smoother, I couldn't hook it up.

I'll post up some photos later. There were some great cars - an i8, 3.0CS, and a pair of 2002s as well.

I got a picture for you. Would have been a bird strike if I was still going full speed. I had already slowed down by the time these birds moved. :D
