I am attending a track event this weekend. I am bringing track tires. I have heard that specifically R compound rubber is not supposed to get frozen or go below freezing because of the material. Who knows about this? Is it better to just run PS2's or something else instead? What are other people's experience with storage of R compound tires in the winter? I always keep my track tires inside during the winter, but I do know if I go to the track tomorrow it will be below freezing tomorrow night while the car and tires are sitting outside at the track...
