Overall Condition:

Interior 8 out of 10

The bad (from original owner):
- Around Xmas 2007 car was involved in accident with a deer to drivers side. Car was repaired at JMK BMW in Springfield, NJ. For those of you who do not know, JMK does all body & paint work for BMW NA's press & fleet cars (BMW NA is head quartered in NJ) and so you know they do the best body work around. Drivers side fender and door were replaced.

Current condition:

The body has pretty normal wear and tear for a 17 year old car in NJ. Some scratches and dents that will be documented in photographs (to be uploaded in a week or two).

The interior is in good shape. Minor headliner sagging by the front passenger grab handle (sagging about 0.5" down, for about 2" around the handle). Minor wear/stitching pulling on the drivers side seat bolster. Wood trim has some minor cracking around the radio. We repaired the passenger side and replaced the driver side door seals (e46 coupe sagging problem).

Mechanically sound, no leaks (weeps at worst). Everything works, apart from items noted below. NJ inspection thru 11/18.

Stuff that doesn't work/needs attention:
1. Sunroof privacy shade tabs are broken (typical E46 problem) but you can manually move it and it will retract when you open sunroof. No sunroof mechanism problems.
2. We have an driver side airbag waiting at CircleBMW to get installed per recall, which we'll take care of in the next couple weeks.
3. I have to confirm the CD changer is in good working order (last I remember it was skipping).
4. Tires are old (date code says '08).
5. Could use new serpentine belts (slightly cracking when inspected).
6. VANOS supply oil hose has typical weeping.
7. Arguably could use brake bleeding and coolant flush (age, not mileage).

Pictures will be added in a week or two.

First set added here:

A near clone to the 2001 e46 I sold 4 years ago. I've missed it near daily. Good luck with the sale... Not sure I'll come up with a spare $4800 before someone else picks this car up!
