Where would I find the yellow or orange sticker on my Z3's transmission to indicate that I need to refill with MTL or with ATF?

Meh, I put Red Line MT-90 in everything.

MT-90 will be fine. You could also call RedLine, they are extremely helpful.

I guess the viscosity is not so important as this is a summer car as I was worried about hard shifts with the thicker fluid.

Don't you love it when you get a bunch of half cocked opinions about which wax is best or the proper style of watch band to wear but no one answers your legitimate technical question?



I think the sticker is on the fill plug side of the transmission and should be visible from below even with the car on jack stands.

Thanks. I will go jack up my car right now, and take a look.

My car has a yellow sticker (MTL). The sticker is located as stated, above the fill plug (right side of the car), but getting a 'peek' was a chore as it is burried way up into the transmission tunnel.
