My mom's 2007 X3 has two (maybe one) cracked rear springs. I've replaced springs on e36/e46's before, but I've never done work on an X3 and I'm worried that it could be a lot more complicated than what I've seen on the earlier e36/e46. Is this a straightforward project? Any potential pitfalls to watch out for, or helpful experiences (possibly a DIY write-up)? Also, anyone know where to find new springs?
Thanks in advance for any help.
