new Fluid in the transmission no change =( wasn't thinking when i had the pan down i should have tested the solenoids. Guess its off to the dealer to relive me of another few dollars. But on a good note the new control/ trailing arms make it drive a lot better

I had a 96 740il. One of my favorite BMW's out of the 15 I've owned. They will eat you out of house and home at this age because of deferred maintenance and it now lands on you to fix it. But, when fully sorted it is a glorious road car. I had mine for 4 years and sold it in 2015. I'm thinking about buying a 2001 e38 at some point in the future.

Our club has many Members who are very good independent BMW shops as well as employees at various dealerships. Where are you located? We can direct you to a quality shop.
