Looking for an independant mechanic for tranmission fluid flush, filter, etc. Dealer wants around $425. 2005 745 Li BMW (7 Series). Anyone know someone or recommend someone. I would wait for vehicle as it should not take longer than 3 hours. Willing to travel.

Check out Oldwick Villiage Garage...

I just had my transmission fluid and differential fluid (335i) done by Oldwick Villiage Garage. They are very professional and only use BMW recommended fluids. Cost for both was around $250 and it only took about an hour. They've also worked on my X3 and I was very satisfied. You can walk to the Oldwick General Store for a good sandwich while you wait. The website is http://www.oldwickvillagegarage.net/

Good luck!

Somerset Transmissions, Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ.
Tel: 732-846-2734. Ask for Court.
Has done fluid changes on my E32. Also replaced transmission valve body, which saved my car from the junkyard.

I would highly recommend Eurosport of Westfield.
they have serviced my 540i, 740iS and 850i for many years.

I second Eurosport of Westfield.
They did my Diff and Trans.
Others from the club use them.
Ask for Jeff.
Regards, Walt.
