Where in South NJ are you? I'd suggest the trip to Guten Parts and Service in South Orange, NJ. They are E30 experts.

I really have no idea where to send you that's not a dealer.

I was just looking at the website you mentioned. I can give them a call and discuss. It may be worth the ride up, but it will be a long round trip.

Mr. MCar in Farmingdale would be a good choice too. Speak to Don.

It's still far for you, but closer than South Orange.

MD Motorwerke on rt 30 ln Somerdale, near Cherry Hill, is a great independent BMW shop. Been using them for years...very good service at reasonable prices.

it's also worth pointing out this job is definitely DIY-able provided you have the right tools. Even I have done it! haha :-D

also plan on doing the belts plus water pump, T-stat & hoses "while you are in there"

I was thinking about doing my e30's timing belt as a winter garage project.
Thanks for the links. Good info.
