2012 328i Convertible Latch sticks !

Just returned from Dealer and after oil Change and 'Check up' Passenger side Roof latch didn't easily unlatch making a loud pop after reseating and trying again ! Is this a omen of things to come with the clam shell top ? Are the latches prone to maladies? Worried as I love this car and love having the top down, even in cooler weather!
