... I guessed around 30 ft/lbs. It's the bolt that holds the aluminum bracket to the side of the engine (part #07119900728). Anybody know any better? Thanks!!

30 ft-lbs is a LOT for an M8 screw in steel threads. I would cut that in half for an aluminum block until you get a better value.

I think you're right, and I was trying to be conservative. I'll back the bolts out tomorrow and re-torque to about 20-ish.
Related: i replaced the entire bracket because it was cracked - one corner was still bolted in but not supporting anything. No reason to believe it wasn't original. But whatever cracked the bracket left the block and bolt intact. Strange!
