I have a few Mann oil filter cartridges that have been on a shelf in my garage for 3 years. I bought several at one time and didn’t use them as quickly as I thought I would. Does anyone have a good feel for the shelf life in a dry relatively cool environment? If there is any chance that they might fail prematurely I’ll throw them out rather then risk engine damage or excessive wear. On the other hand, if it’s safe to use them that would be great. BTW - I stick to a 5K mile change interval.
Thanks, Bill
