Lime Rock will host the 2012 Grand-Am season finale

Grand-Am announced today that it would end its 2012 season at Lime Rock on September 28-29. There will be two Continental Challenge races on Friday the 28th followed by the Rolex Series finale on the 29th.
The Grand-Am schedule has been changed significantly for 2012. NJMP is in May, and there are new events in Detroit (Rolex Series only) in June and at Indy (both series) in conjunction with the Brickyard 400 in late July.
Of course, this means that the series will not run at Lime Rock on Memorial Day Weekend.

VIR is not on the calendar at all; it's the first time in a number of years.
