NJ MV Inspection

I went for inspection on Saturday with the 533i - they did a 2-speed idle / fast idle emissions test and tested the gas cap. In and out in 2 minutes and good for another 2 years.

I passed yesterday. CEL off, SRS light on. Line was very short, too, which is weird for a Friday lunchtime.

Biggest tip I can give is don't hesitate to destroy the old one to get it out! It's broken anyway and almost impossible to remove intact.

Be prepared to be blinded on the roads as the number of HID retrofits go up as inspection won't check for that anymore! HID bulbs in halogen reflectors =
