Getting closer to the Watkins Glen event with DelVal July 7/8. This is a great event and tons of fun. Who else is going???

A note to all who have not signed up yet...get in on this event. It's a great track and a really great group to run with. Still a week away, but the long range forecast looks like amazing weather. Can't ask for more.

I'm in as well. Can't beat the combo of world class track and the scenic Lake Seneca location. Del/Val runs a great school!

Every time I drive down that road 404 (?) and see Lake Seneca it reminds me of my childhood as we would drive up to Lake Tahoe on the border of CA and Nevada. Watkins Glen is a destination which has a track too. If anyone is interested in going for a quick hike/jog into the gorge before the Tue night banquet let me know.

Getting more excited now. I have a tough week though because I work a full day (starting at 7 am on Mon before heading out and a full day Thurs with a study club meeting Thurs night) and I am working that Sat. This is a schedule for a much younger man. However, I would not miss this event even if it means a busy work week.
