Housing for Thunderbolt School?

Post by gfield »

Is there a place setup with a group rate for the Thunderbolt School? If not where are people staying?

I think I heard there is a group rate at the Country Inn and Suites in Millville. A bunch of us are renting suites at the track. Not sure if there are any left. Call NJMP concierge to find out...732-327-7202

Greg,

Try the Country Inn in Millville at 856-825-3100. Rate should be $75 plus tax per night. Be sure to mention the NJ BMW Club.

Good enough to get you to lunch.

Looking ahead to Lightning in August, I think there's an ARCA (?) race at thunderbolt that weekend. I had trouble getting a reservation with double beds at the country inn when I called back in Feb. I wouldn't wait till the last minute to try and book something...

Yup. I called back in late Jan. once I saw that ARCA (NASCAR) was going to be there the same weekend as we are in August. They had jacked up the rates at the Country Inn ($150 per night vs. $75 usual) and the lady who took my reservation said the hotel was almost full already. As another example the trackside suites were raised to over $300 per night. We are paying a little over $90 for the event this June.
