While the 4series wasn't as big as I feared, and looked quite nice, it still continues the evolution path of bloat.

More like these please.

Me, I'd have the rear seat cushion out and make a small hole with a sawzall like device to get the keys. You'd never see the hole again, and it might come in handy. I guess the car didn't have the ski pass through option? When I say I locked the whole car with the fob, I mean the whole car is locke...

Re: Free! E36 roof rack and bike carrier

Larry Koch was cleaning out his garage and discovered a roof rack and bike carrier for an E36. He asked if the club could find a home for it and I said sure! So now it's collecting dust in my garage. Free to the first claimant. Email me at lpengel@comcast.net if you want it. If you still have it, I...

Re: Thanks for Thunderbolt Event

Just got home from the HPDE. I've only done a few, but every time I leave so impressed and thankful for how organized and well run it always is. Thanks to all who put in the time to make sure it's such a safe, educational and fun event! Bill Agreed. Tons of work = tons of fun. Thanks! I haven't don...

Replace both bushings. Have the front toe checked/reset. BMW prescribes that the bracket bolts and underbody-brace bolts be replaced. I am unsure why they want the bracket bolts replaced, as the bolts are not locktited or torque-to-yield. I replace them. The brace bolts are angle-tightened [and I b...

Re: Another tire / wheel question

Hey Guys, E9x M3 comes with 2 tire/wheel sizes. When we do calculation for AutoX, which size do we use? The AutoX classification does not differentiate between the 18 or 19 inch wheels. This makes a big difference when we're thinking about using track wheels with the 275/35-18 square setup. Here is...

So, what's the points addition for a stock 135i with a tune worth ~7% HP/LB-Ft gain? Inquiring minds want to know... We need Ron G to calculate for you. The Boston Chapter points system was a bit confusing for my 128i so Ron worked with their system as a base line and adjusted accordingly for me. B...

OK, here's my issue - I did a tire size change. Here's what the Boston Chapter sez about that: (via http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/_Upload/EventOverview/imf.pdf) Wheels and Tires The points to be assessed by a tire width change are computed by subtracting the increase in width in mm divided by 10 to ...

Did someone say AA class?

Dave
Isn't AA class always the answer when you don't know the real one?
