FS: E30 Autopower 6pt Roll Cage
I have an Autopower 6 point bolt-in roll cage for sale, which is coming out of an E30 track car. It's served me well for the last few years (never needed to test it). Cage does not require the removal of interior (though the rear seat become unusable). All parts are labelled, hardware individually b...

There is also a place in Bound Brook, cant think of the name, but is Egginton's son i believe. Has lots of modified aircooled vw's in the lot and i big in the VW community both air and water. Its right on rt. 28 Jeff, you're thinking of Foreign Car Werks. Never used them myself, as I don't own a VW...

Fine, I'll say it. $2500 is halfway to a good E30 track car. :D Your prior brake upgrades sound spot on. Sway bars, like Brent said, could make a decent improvement for lower $. I don't have a car new enough to comment on a clutch delay value. Tires could make a big improvement, but not sure you can...

You might want to see if there is a +1 price available for a tag-along that doesn't want to drive (but still be fed, go on the tour, perhaps ride-along depending on how they feel about passengers). If one was to travel all that way, I'd think the M school would be more interesting (even for a novice...

I've been told by AAA that towing from one dealer to another (or another shop) is considered a convenience tow, not an emergency tow, and not something that isn't covered by my premier membership. If you go down that route, I'd suggest they don't find the vehicle parked at a place that is otherwise ...

The seat belt mechanism Jeff was referring to is called a CG lock. I don't personally have an issue with the Schroth 4pts with the ASM built in. Regardless of which way you go, double and triple check the installation matches the instructions in terms of routing (not passing over the seat brackets w...

I just use a torque limiting bar that will (roughly) stop torquing your lug nuts at the appropriate ft-lbs, then follow up with a handheld torque wrench. I'm not sure I would trust the torque rating on the gun itself. And I'd rather have the stronger gun. I recently replaced my older Ingersol Rand w...
