Step back for a moment and take a big picture view. I’d like to offer up that the seeds that contributed to the “off” were planted during the prior laps - you fairly consistently over the course of the entire circuit: (a) were on the edge of the track surface at the track out; using all of the track...

The car would most likely be at Bavarian Specialities, Michael's shop, which is located in King of Prussia, PA. about 5 minutes off of the Valley Forge exit of the PA TPKE.

If they need to drag you out of the car then you got more problems than a window being up or down! Seriously though it means less glass flying around in an impact and yes it is a way to get you out should an impact occur that jams the door. I think the track regs dictate if the passenger window can ...

The races typically are 30 minutes +/- long for the sprints and 50-60 minutes for the enduros. The cars are all BMW ranging from very modified to stock (although all cars have safety modifications made). I do not know if there is a cost, that would be a track thing not a BMW club thing. Typically I ...

Driving the German Autobahn - one of life's great pleasures. The whole approach is cultural, we could never pull it off here.

HI -

I believe that two of the three others that several are referring too - Alpine (Allentown environs) and Rausch Creek (near Harrisburg) are dead. Perhaps there may be some offroading ATV stuff at these places but paved track is a no go.

So we wait for south jersey......

Cheers, Mark.

With only a few exceptions the DE portion of the event runs pretty much like any other. There is certainly a lot more going on in general as a result of having the race - e.g. a lot of activity in the paddock. Personnaly this is a good thing, its great to take a few breaks in the day to kick back an...

HI - I think the value of any "exceptional" BMW is somewhat a function of the market at any given time. I would also think that the exceptional value theory typically applies to M cars (e.g. the E30M3 or the E28M5 for example) more times than non M cars. Having owned an E30M3 and still own an E28M5 ...

Hi - I just checked the DV site under Classifieds. It is not there. The offer was part of a thread on the DV email list. Sorry. I guess best bet is to email Tex for the info. Regards, mark.
