I believe your system and the one on the E28 M5 were the same so you might want to give a try on myE28.com and search for SLS. Most people remove it but some keep it original.

Does anyone knows of a place that can make (or replace the hose) for an AC line? I'm repairing my car's AC and from the 5 hoses one is NLA (it is for the E28) so I need to repair/re-make one. It's amazing how cheap these hoses are from BMW at about $40 a piece.

Congrats on another great event Larry! My son wasn't so convinced in the morning but by the time he left his face looked much different. He even enjoyed it!

I forgot to update this! I managed to build the DIY tool and loosen the big nut. I did had to grind the sides of the 32-mm wrench that I have as I couldn't fit both of them in the same space.
