Agreed, the extension doesn't help with the shaking. I also didn't get a chance to turn the image stabilization off. I'll try that next time. Camera battery died

There's no external mic, just the camera mic. Sometimes it works fine sometimes it picks up a lot of wind noise as well.

Have you tried putting some foam around the cage where the mount is attached and see if it absorbs some of the vibration?

Traffic was a big problem at times but people were good about giving passes. The mount is called cruisecam (Jon has the same) it attaches to your head rest. I originally didn't like the view angle when the camera was sitting straight on the mount. So I put a 2" extention. The camera sits higher, get...

Here's one of my videos... you can see Marc spin at around 5 min into the vid. Don't mind the quality, still haven't figured out the best settings/location for the camera and mount.

I'll be there as well. Car had somewhat of an overhaul, oil change, new belts, new front control arms, new front control arm bushings, new tires, new sway bar end links. Same crappy driver is the weak link now.

Agree with Mike. I had/have a daily drive E46 that does double duty but if I was to do it over again, I'd pick up an E36 M3 and go from there. You can get them relatively cheap now.

WTB One or Two SSR Comp Wheels 18x9.5

Hi, I'm looking for one or two SSR Comp wheels in 18x9.5 with 35mm offset. I had an unfortunate meeting with a brick on the middle of the road at 45mph. Happy to say the brick survived, the rim, not so much.

Let me know if you have one or a pair.

Thanks,
Eugene

Both track tires and track pads will improve braking performance. A big part of braking is not just the pads but also the tires. R comps will provide more grip and stop the car in a shorter distance when compared to street tires. Same goes for track pads vs stock pads. Cooling ducts are very helpful...
