Yes, that other response was from me. I am also surprised that it let me post without logging in; I suspect someone forget a security setting the last time they adjusted the forum software, because soon we will be overwhelmed with ads for ED medication.

BMW has pretty much completely turned me off the past 10 years, but the 1M almost got me going again. Oh well. Back to the Audi dealership, I'm about to buy an S6.

NJM40 is pretty much correct being that 740 cars were built for the US including the launch car that debut at Daytona in 2011.US cars built from March to October(except the launch car),we were lucky to get 6 cars in my store (#6 was the very last US car produced). If you have some time ,the link below has some real cool stuff about the whole 1M development .

Thanks for the info. It was the first new BMW in a long time that had me a little interested, so of course it was limited production...

It was a limited production with some dealers only getting 1-3 units and I knew of other dealers who got 0. I believe the US production was about 740 units. I seem them on Ebay for $10K over MSRP with 7-12k miles on them. We sold ours at MSRP. We only got one.

Sorry, I haven't been paying attention. Can you buy a 1M, or was that some kind of limited model long gone?
